A note from the owner
Hi, I’m John Verhoff, a local to Southwest Florida and Founder of Plumbing & Cooling Nerds. Right after high school, I started a job as a shop apprentice at the local plumbing and HVAC company in my town, quickly understanding how vital clean water, proper drainage and heating and cooling is to the health and wellbeing of not only our local community, but the world. In between digging trenches and clearing AC drain lines, it dawned on me… there was a need for a more customer-centric approach to home services.
From that day forward, I made it my mission to “change the way the world views skilled trades” by educating homeowners about the plumbing and HVAC functions in their home, while offering tech-savvy and modern solutions that best suit their needs. It quickly turned from just a job, to a career that drives my passion for people and love for community, 30 years and counting.
As a Master Plumber and HVAC professional, I get the privilege to lead and coach 80+ award-winning technicians and staff members who believe in our mission, and provide exceptional customer service each and everyday!
